  Enter your Aadhaar Number, Enrolment ID (EID), or Virtual ID (VID),
• Complete the captcha shown on the screen.

Authenticate with OTP:
You will receive a One-Time Password (OTP) on your registered mobile number.
Enter the OTP and continue to the next step.

Download the e-Aadhaar PDF:
After successful verification, download your e-Aadhaar in PDF format.
The file is password-protected — use the first four capital letters of your name followed by your birth year to open it.

Important: This service is free of charge until 14 June 2026.

Note: To update your mobile number in Aadhaar, you need to visit an Aadhaar Enrolment Centre. There, provide your Aadhaar number and the new mobile number. You will be required to complete biometric verification, which includes a fingerprint or iris scan. No supporting documents or the old mobile number are necessary for this update. The entire process is free, and once your update is processed, you will receive a confirmation.

  The file is password-protected.
  Use the first four letters of your name (in CAPITALS) followed by your birth year as the password.

(Example: For Rahul born in 1990, the password would be RAHU1990)

Track Aadhaar Enrolment or Update Status

Go to https://myaadhaar.uidai.gov.in and click on “Check Enrolment & Update Status”.

Step 2: Enter Your Details
Provide your Update Request Number (URN) or Enrolment ID (EID).

An OTP will be sent to your registered mobile number. Enter the OTP to proceed.

Step 4: View Status
Once authenticated, the portal will display the current status of your Aadhaar request.

Note: You can check your Aadhaar enrolment or update status by calling the toll-free number 1947 from your registered mobile number. After calling, select your preferred language (for example, press 1 for Hindi or 2 for English). Then, press 1 to check your enrolment status or press 2 for update status. When prompted, enter your 28-digit Enrolment ID (EID) or Update Request Number (URN). Follow the voice instructions to hear the status of your request, such as “Aadhaar Generated” or “Under Processing.” Please note, this service only works if your mobile number is registered with UIDAI.

Verify Mobile Number/Email

To enjoy free services, your email and mobile number must be linked to aadhaar:

• Step 1: Visit https://myaadhaar.uidai.gov.in and Click on the “Verify Email/Mobile” option.

• Step 2: Enter your Aadhaar number and the mobile number or email ID you want to verify.
• Step 3: Complete the captcha code as shown on the screen.
• Step 4: An OTP will be sent to your entered mobile number or email.

• Enter the OTP to complete the verification process.
• If the information matches UIDAI records, a confirmation message will be displayed.

Get Your Aadhaar Number or EID

1 .Go to the official portal :Visit https://myaadhaar.uidai.gov.in/ and click on “Retrieve EID / Aadhaar Number.”

2 .Enter your details :Provide your full name along with your registered mobile number or email ID. Then choose whether you want to recover your Aadhaar Number or Enrolment ID (EID).

3 .Verify your identity :Complete the captcha, request an OTP, and enter the OTP received on your registered mobile number or email.

4 .Get your Aadhaar/EID :Once verified, your Aadhaar Number or Enrolment ID will be sent directly to your registered mobile or email.

Generate Virtual ID (VID)

A Virtual ID (VID) is a 16-digit, temporary and revocable number that you can use instead of your Aadhaar Number. It helps protect your privacy while accessing Aadhaar services.
Step1 – Visit the portal: Go to https://myaadhaar.uidai.gov.in/ and select the “VID Generator” option.

Step 2 – Enter your Aadhaar details: Provide your Aadhaar Number and verify your identity with an OTP sent to your registered mobile number.

Step 4 –Get your VID: The system will display your VID on the screen and also send it to your registered mobile number.

Order Aadhaar PVC Card

The Aadhaar PVC Card is a compact, wallet-sized version of Aadhaar that is easy to carry and long-lasting.

1. How to Order Your Aadhaar PVC Card:

Visit the portal – Go to https://myaadhaar.uidai.gov.in/ and click on “Order Aadhaar PVC Card.”

Enter your details – Provide your Aadhaar Number and complete the captcha for verification.

Make payment – Pay the nominal fee of ₹50 (inclusive of GST and Speed Post charges).

Confirm and receive – Once confirmed, the PVC card will be printed and dispatched to your registered address.

2. How to Track Your PVC Aadhaar Card Status:

Visit the “My Aadhaar” section on https://myaadhaar.uidai.gov.in/ and click “Check Aadhaar PVC Card Status.”

Enter the 28-digit Service Request Number (SRN) from your payment receipt along with the captcha code.

Click Submit to view the current status — such as “Order Processed,” “Handed Over to DoP,” or “Delivered.”

Once an order is placed, UIDAI processes and dispatches the PVC Aadhaar Card to the Department of Post (DoP) within 5 working days (excluding the day the request is made). Delivery typically takes 5 to 15 working days via Speed Post and is sent to the address registered in your Aadhaar.
